was the order of the day on the 46th birthday of Fanty Soenardy
Inspired by Chanel’s Paris-New York 2018/19 Métiers D’art Collection, which had plenty of golden detailing, Fanty Soenardy’s 46th birthday party was a night of glitz and glamour, with a dress code that required “The Midas Touch”. On the evening of 7 August at the Curate restaurant in Resorts World Sentosa, the birthday girl had chef de cuisine Benjamin Halat prepare an elaborate summer-themed menu specially for her close friends, among them Nancy Hu who flew in from Beijing. The menu featured a colourful spread that started with an egg souffle with Kaluga Queen caviar, and continued with sumptuous kurobuta pork loin and pork belly for the main course. Even their liquid pleasure were golden, with Ruinart champagne to start the day and Hennessy Paradis Imperial served in regal test tubes towards the end of the night.
