Fans of Piaget’s jewellery may know that the brand is one of the few maisons with its own gold foundry, which is why this event was aptly themed “A Festive Golden Moment”. A‘s readers came ready to shine, all dressed in “A Touch of Gold”.
Pétronille de Parseval, Piaget’s managing director for Southeast Asia and Australia, and Laura Lim, head of strategic partnerships, marketing and creative services for A magazine, gave the guests a warm welcome. The ladies also got the low-down on the design concept from our fashion editor, Aaron Kok.
Later, the ladies tried on the gold high jewellery collection in Piaget’s hidden VIP room, which had been specially decorated with a large mistletoe arch.
Piaget also introduced some of its more unique metier d’art pieces, featuring artisanal feather marquetry. The watches, especially the curvaceous Limelight Gala and the brand’s iconic ultra-thin Altiplano, also had some of the guests checking them out while enjoying their champagne and canapes.
