Yup, we named this issue after the salad of Asian origin that’s been deliciously adapted by multiple races. Here, we borrow its Singlish form, where rojak, as The Coxford Singlish Dictionary helpfully explains, “is used as an adjective to describe something as either eclectic, or just plain messy.” We argue there’s always an element of beauty even in a mess — you just need a new perspective. This is our ode to more medleys, melting pots, and diverse viewpoints.
