There was plenty of holiday cheer at the recent launch of the Rimowa Original Twist in blue, held exclusively for readers of A, at the Rimowa boutique in Mandarin Gallery. The premium handcrafted luggage with its iconic parallel grooves now comes in blue, with its original anodised aluminium body accented with leather handles decked out in the electric hue. And yes, the effect is electrifying. The luggage now comes in a kaleidoscope of colours and finishes, from chic matte to brilliant shine. They certainly caught the eyes of the invited guests — many of them already have the original suitcase, but these new coloured accents provided just the right reasons for a new Rimowa, ready to roll on their next holiday abroad.
