Tangerine orange, lilac or peacock green? Silk, charmeuse or cashmere? In a rapidly evolving world inundated with options, sometimes all you want is the ability to have it all.
Blancpain’s new Ladybird Colors collection is conceived with that in mind: to offer today’s multifaceted women a single dazzling solution to their everyday timely needs. At 35.9mm in diameter, it takes up just the right amount of real estate on the wrist: big enough to command attention but also discretionally sized to take you through boardroom meetings.
Designed to make a lasting impression, it is presented in a red or white gold case that sparkles with the brilliance of more than two carats of diamonds. Other head-turning opulent details include an iridescent mother of pearl dial, an inner diamond circle to illuminate the rounded applied gold Arabic numerals, as well as a pair of hands shaped like hollowed-out sage leaves – a signature brand trademark – to indicate the time.
Fine watchmaking connoisseurs will appreciate that the watch is driven by the in-house manufactured Calibre 1153 movement that is renowned for its slenderness and generous four-day power reserve. Like all Blancpain manufacture movements, it comes equipped with a silicon balance spring for better stability, performance, accuracy and resistance to magnetic interference and thermal fluctuations.
Flip over to admire the attention to detail and finishing that has also been lavished on the movement, such as the circular-grained mainplate with chamfering finishing, as well as the satin-brushed bridges adorned with a Côtes de Genève motif. The self-winding movement is equipped with an openworked gold oscillating weight that has been designed to match the circular patterns on the dial.
Last but certainly not least – Ladybird Colors comes with a myriad of case and strap combinations to suit different style preferences. Pick from peacock green, midnight blue, satin-white, lemon yellow, tangerine orange or lilac alligator leather straps; or, don’t choose – get them all.
Now, what did we say about having it all?
