An Evening With Ian Griffiths, Creative Director Of Max Mara

Stopping through Singapore for a whirlwind trip on 26 November, Max Mara’s Creative Director Ian Griffiths was here for the launch of his Resort 2020 collection to A: The First Of magazine’s close circle of readers. Champagne and canapes flowed freely as guests got an up-close look at the luxurious offerings from the Italian brand at its store in Mandarin Gallery.

The highlight of the party was when Griffiths offered a rare and personal presentation of his designs. He spoke extensively about how the Berlin Wall, Marlene Dietrich and David Bowie were key inspirations for the collection and peppered his speech with anecdotes from his personal experiences.
