Lot 155: 67.61-carat natural unheated Mozambican Paraiba tourmaline and diamond necklace; estimate: HK$ 880,000 - 1,200,000/ US$ 113,000 - 154,000.

One-of-a-kind jewellery pieces of exceptional quality take centrestage at the upcoming Tiancheng International Jewellery and Jadeite Autumn Auction that will be held on 26 November (1pm) at the 30th floor of the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong. Both in-person and virtual bidding via an online platform will be allowed. This will be preceded by a preview taking place from 20 to 25 November (10am to 6pm).

Lot 157: Very fine pair of jadeite and lavender jadeite bangles; estimate on request.

Among the showstoppers expected to garner great interest from jewellery connoisseurs, are an opulent pair of jadeite and lavender jadeite bangles carved from premium-grade boulders, and a 67.61-carat natural unheated Mozambican Paraiba tourmaline and diamond necklace.

The latter – which emits a gentle blueish green colour and boasts remarkable clarity – is especially sought after as the gemstone has not undergone heat treatment, a process that artificially enhances its hue.

  • Lot 99:17.01-carat natural fancy vivid yellow VS1 clarity diamond ring; estimate: HK$ 5,400,000 – 8,400,000/US$ 692,000 – 1,080,000.
  • Lot 60: Jadeite and diamond necklace; estimate: HK$ 4,000,000 – 6,000,000/US$ 513,000 – 770,000.
  • Lot 44: 3.54-carat natural fancy greenish blue VS2 clarity excellent polish diamond ring; estimate: HK$ 5,500,000 – 8,500,000/US$ 705,000 – 1,090,000.

Also to be released at the auction, are diamond pieces by renowned houses including Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels. The bouquet-inspired lots by Cartier are resplendent in sapphires, diamonds and karat gold that are fashioned by skilled artisans into delicate petals, pistils and sepals.
